Ms KC has now enjoyed a full year here.  She's still getting used to "new" things around the house.  Some times it seems she gets a memory lapse or is it the owner whose memory lapses?

Either way, it's been fun to have a cat back in the house.  The link above will take you to the Connecticut Humane Society.  It's a great organization and provides a safe temporary home for animals that can no longer stay with their families.  For the "unadoptables", the cats and dogs get to live at the sanctuary.  It is a non-put-down shelter.  If you are considering adding a pet to your home, consider adoption from a shelter as an option.  There are so many great pets that would love to come home with  you.
